Appreciate the work?
Donations help.

‘to know the land’ is all about learning, sharing and teaching about the land. It means a lot to me to provide the stories, the podcasts, the blog posts, and the resources to all who are curious about or hungry for that sense of connection to their landbase.

Through interviews, story telling, sharing what is happening all around us with everyone in an accessible and easily approachable format I hope to inspire resilience, resistance, and reverence for the land, and from the feedback I receive, the project is working towards those ends.

‘to know the land’ is a labour of love. Love may be an unlimited resource, but time, energy, and money are not. The work that goes into this project is unpaid. I have no sponsors, no monetary support aside from those who offer.

Forgoing quantifying the hours put in writing, editing, interviewing, photography, or the maintenance or purchase of the computer, camera, recording equipment and editing software, the domain and webhosting alone costs around 250$ a year. It is my hope to raise enough money to at the very least cover these.

If ‘to know the land’ has taught you something, inspired you in some way, please consider a donation to keep the project running. Collective support helps invest in a better show, maintaining and building a better website, upgrading our recording equipment, more time to write and teach, and hopefully reach more folks.

Thank you.
